Anyone remember the great alarm the Democrats portrayed when the “Nuclear Option” threatened their agenda?  Everything the left is accusing the GOP of in this video is precisely what they are doing today with the threat of “reconciliation.”

This may be just a little bit over the top, but I thought it was somewhat relevant and very entertaining!  I actually thought the man ranting in this video reminded me a little more of Harry Reid….just sayin:)

This may come as a shock indeed, but House Democrats are actually admitting to serious problems with their Health Bill.  After months and months and hours upon hours of trying to adhere to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama’s whims of ramming this health care bill through, the frustrations caused by the reality of why it isn’t passing are actually causing some honest introspection…maybe?

It’s kind of like Senator Charlie Rangel is saying, “it’s not going to get passed unless we do it the right way and the right way is to address and remove these ‘many different factions that have a stake in the matter.’”

What America is in desperate need of now is a cleanse.  Not one of these types of cleanses, but a cleanse in congress.  Get rid of the toxic filth that is plaguing our free society.

“We’ve got a problem on both sides of the Capitol. A serious problem,” Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) said Tuesday evening.

The difficulty in hashing out an agreement between the two chambers is largely due to there being so many different factions with a stake in the matter, Rangel said. “Normally you’re just dealing with the Senate and they talk about 60 votes and you listen to them and cave in, but this is entirely different,” he said. “I’m telling you that never has 218 been so important to me in the House.”

Another senior House Democrat familiar with negotiations on the bill said no progress has been made this week on any of the key sticking points in the House and Senate bills, despite steady meetings with union leaders and the White House.

“There’s no agreement. No deal on anything. Nothing,” the lawmaker said.

I just found this video as I was searching for Mitt Romney’s 2008 campaign ads and remembered that this is the video that really jump started my support for Mitt.  This video gives us a unique perspective on Mitt’s character and capabilities.

No one can doubt that Mitt Romney is a man who can get the job done.  As one individual in this video pointed out, “Governor Romney is pointed and asks a lot of questions.”

We need a President who can zero in on a problem until it is fixed, unlike our current President who deems it adequate to delegate to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, rather than take on the job to make sure it gets done…the right way!

This Rassmussen poll was released at 10:30AM EST.  It was conducted as a ‘Mitt Romney/Sarah Palin Vs. Barack Obama’ poll and has Romney and Obama in a dead heat.  In an earlier post, I indicated to our readers that it does indeed look like the 2012 prospects are shaping up to be a ‘Romney Vs. Obama’ contest.  Romney’s numbers continue to climb as Obama’s shrink.

Obama to meet Mormon leader

From the no-stone-unturned department: Tomorrow’s schedule says the president will meet Latter-Day Saints Church President Thomas Monson, in the company of Senate Minority Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Mormon.

Then, in light of the new poll out today, this was noted.

Obama’s likeliest 2012 foe, Mitt Romney, is a Mormon whose political organization has long drawn support from LDS, but that’s evidently no obstacle.

This news coming out about the House Judiciary seeking to Repeal the 22nd Amendment should be alarming to all Americans who have sought to uphold the principles in the Constitution(i.e.- a balance of power), since it was designed for the rights and protection of the people from Tyranny in our US Government.

H.J.Res. 5 is a Constitutional amendment to remove the limit on the number of terms one may serve as President. It effectively would repeal the 22nd Amendment, which was approved by Congress in 1947 and ratified by the states in 1951. Over the past six congressional sessions, several members of Congress have introduced similar legislation, including Sen. Harry Reid in 1989 ( S.J.Res. 36). As is likely the case in the 111th Congress, the resolutions have never proceeded out of committee. Furthermore, given its past history, it is not likely that such resolutions have been or are currently tied to any specific presidential session.
