Mitt Romney on Larry King: Obama ‘Betrayed’ Oath

Romney Launches “Prescription for Repeal”

March 24, 2010 – 10:21 AM | by: Anita Siegfriedt

Mitt Romney’s ‘Free and Strong America’ PAC announced a new donation program today called ‘Prescription for Repeal.’

According to a release, the program’s aim is to “support conservative candidates who will repeal the worst aspects of Obamacare and restore commonsense principles to healthcare.”

The first endorsements go to three conservatives in key Ohio Congressional Districts.

Representative Jean Schmidt of Ohio’s Second Congressional District who is running for reelection to her third full term.

Representative Steve Chabot, who served as Congressman in Ohio’s First Congressional District for fourteen years is running for his old seat.

Steve Stivers, a former State Senator running for Ohio’s Fifteenth Congressional District. His opponent, Representative Mary Jo Kilroy (D-OH), voted in favor of healthcare reform.

The PAC will send each endorsed candidate a primary election contribution of $2,500.

“America has unfortunately been taken down the wrong path by President Obama, which is why it’s critical we elect fiscally-responsible conservative leaders who will restore commonsense principles to healthcare,” said Romney.

Anyone that has any government classes behind them knows what is in our Constitution, and understands the relationship of a Federation, the States Rights, and the Individual Freedoms that are granted as rights. Each President swears an oath to protect and defend the Constitution when he is sworn into office. In this case, he has done quite the opposite, hoping that the ignorance of the masses of their freedoms, will allow him, in the name of alleged goodness, to take not only their freedoms, but their States Rights, as well, and create Kingdom, with a more authoritarian basis. Our Constitution states that if our freedoms are infringed upon, that we as the people (remember that we have a government for the people, of the people, and by the people) have the Rights to revolt, redress, recall, etc… All persons, parties, states and government officials and legislation that deviate from the original establishment of the founding Fathers that allows the said freedoms. All Supreme Court Judges that support such legislation can be recalled, as well. No good thing can grow in oppression, even well intended oppression. Redistribution of wealth is legalized stealing, and benefits no one. In a society where consequences have been absorbed by social programs and individual responsibility is never questioned or required, no one even dreams that we do still have a Maker that will require at our hands, dispensed responsibilities that we will indeed stand in judgment to account for one day. We need to set things back in order. Individuals need to give, for what is taken; either provides a service or repay. Charities need to be allowed to teach correct principals, and council wayward behaviors when assisting the poor and the needy. Simple replenishment does little to correct the path of error that carries so many into devastation in so many ways, taking innocent victims and children with them.
For such a bold assumption of non-delegated nor possessed Presidential powers to be expressed as they have been, is destabilizing, arrogant, careless, and very dangerous; most especially by a key public figure who by their very position sets behavior examples for the population of this nation and sadly (in this case) to the world. He does not seem to have faith in us as a Christian nation, to care for the needs of the poor and needy, and what he takes to satisfy his resolution is not his to take or to pass on.
