Evidence That President Obama is Lying To The American People About Benghazi?

After weeks of watching the Administration flub the Lybia cover up, it’s obvious that there have been many questionable actions as well as conflicting statements.  My intent is not to lay out all the confusing and speculative stuff that’s already been hashed out over and over on Fox News, but rather to focus on 2 statements made by the top 2 in command over the Benghazi attack -The President of The United States (Barack Obama) and The Secretary of Defense (Leon Panetta).

Reports have shown that the military was told to “stand down” when preparing to react to the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.  When questioned on this, Leon Panetta said this:

“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”

Now we could venture off into the peculiar statement made above -Panetta speaking for the General- regarding them being on the same page, and why then he was relieved of his command post, but there’s something more profound in it’s evidence we must not overlook.  Just a few days after Secretary Panetta made the above statement, President Obama made this statement:

“The minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to.”

In these 2 statements, the first one made by the Secretary of Defense, and the Latter by The President, lies the evidence of a cover up.  Here is the chain of command: 1. President of United States, 2. Secretary of Defense, 3. Chairman of The Joint Chief’s of Staff (General Martin Dempsey), 4. General Carter Ham (U.S. Africa Command).

General Ham

The Secretary of Defense would have received his “execute order” from The President and Commander and Chief of The United States Military.  The Secretary of Defense would have then gave the directive to General Ham to execute that order.  However, according to The Secretary of Defense, there was no order given.  Correct?  I mean, either no order was given or he disobeyed the Commander and Chief’s order to execute, right?  Panetta said “(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place”.

The only rational conclusion one can come to, from hearing these conflicting statements from the top 2 in command, is that the President is lying.  I think the chances that the Secretary of Defense would have disobeyed an order given by the Commander in Chief to rescue a U.N. Ambassador are very, very small.

Furthermore, if the President did not give the order to execute, then he must have given the order to “stand down”, and if so, he not only has blood on his hands, he should be impeached for lying under oath to the American people and initiating and perpetuating a cover up.

As someone said earlier today, “this is Watergate on steroids”.
