Many Romney supporter have wondered if Trumps endorsement would be a good things for Mitt, holding onto concerns that The Donald would use this as a media opportunity…among other things. I have my reasons for believing this will be a good endorsement, but I’d like to hear form you. One thing I know is that Trump is on Fox News all the time and he has a strong and fearless voice, as I just heard from his defense of Mitt on Neil Cavuto’s show.
When rumors had it that Trump was going to endorse Gingrich, I worried that he was indeed using the political process for his own gain. It made no sense to endorse the “fat cat” that got rich off of politics, the guy that was in SECOND place, the guy that trashed free enterprise.
But Trump’s endorsement of Mitt was respectful and professional. I think his distaste for China’s and OPEC’s practices (not to mention BHO) was stronger than his penchant for ratings.

Trump said to Wolf Blitzer just a few moments ago, when asked “will you help Romney raise money and will you contribute tons of money to his Super Pac”, Trump said “I will do everything in my power to help get Mitt Romney elected”. This may cause sensible Republicans to back Mitt because they will be concerned about wasting their time and effort should Trump run 3rd party due to Gingrich getting the nomination. This could possibly provide some sort of influence if people see that Trump might run 3rd party. Just a thought.
